H∞-control of linear state-delay descriptor systems: an LMI approach

چکیده
For continuous-time, linear descriptor system with state-delay a H∞-control problem is solved. Sufficient conditions for delay-dependent/delay-independent stability and L2-gain analysis are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A bounded real lemma and state-feedback solutions are derived for systems which may contain polytopic parameter uncertainties. The filtering problem is also solved and an output-feedback controller is then found by solving two LMIs. The first LMI is associated with a proportional-derivative statefeedback control. The second LMI is derived in two different forms, the first one corresponds to the adjoint of the system that describes the estimation error and the other stems from the original system. These two forms lead to different results. Numerical examples are given which illustrate the effectiveness of the new theory. © 2002 Elsevier Science Inc. All rights reserved.

Control of Flexible Link Robot using a Closed Loop Input-Shaping Approach
This paper is has addressed the Single Flexible Link Robot. The dynamical model is derived using Euler-Lagrange equation and then a proper controller is designed to suppress a vibration based-on Input-Shaping (IS) method. But, IS control method is an open loop strategy. Due to the weakness of open loop control systems, a closed loop IS control system is proposed. The achieved closed loop c...
متن کاملDelay-dependent stability for transparent bilateral teleoperation system: an LMI approach
There are two significant goals in teleoperation systems: Stability and performance. This paper introduces an LMI-based robust control method for bilateral transparent teleoperation systems in presence of model mismatch. The uncertainties in time delay in communication channel, task environment and model parameters of master-slave systems is called model mismatch. The time delay in communicatio...
متن کاملROBUST $H_{infty}$ CONTROL FOR T–S TIME-VARYING DELAY SYSTEMS WITH NORM BOUNDED UNCERTAINTY BASED ON LMI APPROACH
In this paper we consider the problem of delay-dependent robustH1 control for uncertain fuzzy systems with time-varying delay. The Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy model is used to describe such systems. Time-delay isassumed to have lower and upper bounds. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskiifunctional method, a sufficient condition for the existence of a robust $H_{infty}$controller is obtained. The fuzz...
متن کاملNON-FRAGILE GUARANTEED COST CONTROL OF T-S FUZZY TIME-VARYING DELAY SYSTEMS WITH LOCAL BILINEAR MODELS
This paper focuses on the non-fragile guaranteed cost control problem for a class of T-S fuzzy time-varying delay systems with local bilinear models. The objective is to design a non-fragile guaranteed cost state feedback controller via the parallel distributed compensation (PDC) approach such that the closed-loop system is delay-dependent asymptotically stable and the closed-loop performance i...
متن کاملDelay-dependent Robust H∞ Control for T-S Fuzzy Descriptor Networked Control System with Multiple State Delays
The problem of delay-dependent robust H∞ control for T-S fuzzy descriptor networked control systems with multiple state time-delays is investigated. First, in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, an improved delay-dependent criterion is established to ensure that the descriptor system is regular, impulse free and stable with H∞ performance. Without using model transformation and bo...
